Sorry ladies, this movie is not a romantic comedy.
It IS a great buddy comedy, with some foul-mouthed heroines. It’s a movie that finally lets the girls have some fun.
Olive and Mocha is for every female that ever saw “Superbad,” “Hangover,” or “Knocked Up” and thought… “Yeah, this is hilariously funny… but where am I? I can’t relate to the uptight girlfriend, the concerned wife or the generic love interest.” The truth in comedy is that girls are vastly overlooked and underused. Olive and Mocha comes from a place of deep yearning to see chicks with HUGE… punchlines.
We flip the switch on comedy, and let the women have some say. Olive and Mocha get to fart, fight, drink, have sex and live to joke about it.
